Three Sisters Round 1 kicks off this weekend!

It seems an eternity since i raced at the Three Sisters race track Near Wigan in the North West!

It's up there with my favourite tracks, and this weekend is the first round of the season for the Preston and District Motorcycle Club.

All the dates are available on the Race Schedule page. Tomorrow i will be there testing before the weekend.

I'm really looking forward to my first races on this bike at Three Sisters. I want to beat my PB and get into the 56's this year, that's definitely a big goal for me.

This first round has several of the Welsh crew racing, Arwell Thomas and Chris Ganderton, Nige and Ben Rea will be there too with their engines still warm from racing at Aintree on the Saturday, along with Hottrax Junior 600 Junior endurance race Mark Roxborough from JR Racing for the second time after dipping his toes into sprint racing at the end of last season here, and getting the bug!

I'll be racing in the Formula 600 class under the usual #177, and hopefully the 501-1300 open class, although this is not a certainty at the moment, as the class is unfortunately over subscribed. Having won both of these championships last year, i would obviously like to depend the titles this season, so if i don't get to race in the open at round 1, it could make the year interesting!

Get down for a watch if you're free on the weekend, it's a great club and a great track. Good times,

Bongo.

It should be
